Docmiami - Florida Documentary Film Festival Special Educational Screenings
DocMiami International Film Festival proudly invites students and educators to the Special Screenings. Students enjoy cutting edge documentary films not yet in distribution (released to theatres, television or available on DVD)!
Reservations are free and open to SELECT public, charter, private, parochial and home schools. Space is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis. The screenings begin promptly. Specific film titles and synopsis will be released as soon as films are officially selected. Schools will RSVP based on film themes/topics and be assigned to films which fall under their selected criteria (historical, health, etc..)

SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL SCREENINGS: RESERVATION FORM
EDUCATIONAL SCREENINGS POLICY
Only reserve the amount of tickets that will be used- sets of up to 50 tickets. All unused tickets must be returned to the DocMiami Education Department two (2) weeks before the screening. Schools that no show or reserve more tickets than are used will not be allowed to continue in the program.
On the Reservation Form, please indicate the number of students and chaperones you would like to request per screening. We will provide one chaperon ticket for every 10 students attending.
Please bear in mind that we will do our best to accommodate your preferences, but due to overwhelming demand, we cannot guarantee that you will receive all the tickets requested. You will be contacted via email prior to each screening indicating how many tickets have been allocated to your school.
All teachers and students should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to screening time so that they can be seated before the film begins.
Please turn off cell phones, remain silent and leave quietly if you need to before the end. The use of cameras or recording devices of any kind is prohibited. Teachers are responsible for students at all times.
